Coin-Op was founded by Joseph T. Alesi and his two brothers in 1963 and was an offshoot from a commercial laundry company their father (Thomas) started after emigrating to Rochester.
Over the years, Coin-Op has been involved in all aspects of the commercial laundry business, but today focuses on the placement of laundry equipment for the owners and management of apartment communities and colleges.
Coin-Op is now owned and operated by the founders two sons, Michael and Thomas Alesi, each of whom reside in the Rochester area. Both have been involved in the business since the early 1980's.
Our market area consists of all of upstate New York, with a predominance of our business in the Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton, Elmira, and Albany markets. Our headquarters has always been located in East Rochester, New York.
